Many online poker rooms offer multi-table and single-table
online poker tournaments which provides a relatively low cost entry into playing
poker with other players from around the world.
Many tournaments start at about £2 to £200 and can offer prize funds of up to £30,000+.
The tournament mechanics tend to be similar across poker rooms, although its worth checking
with the poker room for their full instructions. Players pay a tournament entry prior to playing
and each player receives the same number of chips. Prizes are awarded according to the
