With the advent of interactive gaming and the prospect of changes in the UK
gaming law due to these technological advances, the Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association
was established as a trade body to work with interactive gambling operators
IGGBA
The Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association (IGGBA) was established in 2002 to address
potential governmental issues concerning the i-gaming industry. Recognised by both the UK Gaming Board and
GAMCARE, the UK social responsibility group, IGGBA is working to provide reassurance to players
about the trust of its members and to represnt the i-gaming industry largely during the formation
of formal regulation. IGGBA are represented at a number of industry events and currently have over 47 members, including
operators, software providers, legal firms and testing companies.
