Three Card Poker
Three Card Poker is a simple game with little or no skill involved. Essentially
you need to beat the dealer by making the best hand possible from 3 cards.
In 3 Card Poker, straights have a higher ranking than a flush since the chances of making a 3-card
straight is lower. Aces are high or low.
Three Card Poker offers 2 bets. The Ante and the Pair Plus. The Ante is the
same as conventional poker Ante bets and is the initial bet for playing a hand.
The Pair Plus is an additional bet as to whether you will receive at least a pair. You can make one or
To begin the game, you simply place the bet on the ante - and the pair plus bet (this is optional).
The dealer deals you 3 cards face-down and 3 cards to the dealer face-down.
You may then decide whether to fold or whether to
play. If you fold, you simply lose the ante - and the pair plus bet if you
decided to place that bet. If you decide to play, or raise, you need to place a wager of equal
money on the 'play' bet. If you win the hand against the dealer, you get paid for both the Ante bet and the Pair Plus bet (if that was
originally taken). The dealer needs at least Queen High to qualify - anything below this is
a win for the player.
The payouts are as follows:
- If the dealer doesn't qualify, ante wins 1-1 and the raise bet is returned
- If the dealer qualifies and the player beats the dealer, the ante and the play bet wins 1-1
- If the dealer qualifies and ties with the player, the player loses both ante and play bet
- If the dealer qualifies and beats the player hand, the player loses both ante and play bet
In addition, the 'ante' bet has a win bonus as follows:
